10,345 job listings were collected across the UAE between 1 and 30 September 2026, against 14,975 in August. Collection was interrupted for part of September (see "Comparing September with August"), so this is not a measure of hiring demand.
2,305 of 3,501 advertisers (65.8%) advertised exactly one role, against 64.2% in August.
Dubai accounted for 5,547 of 10,345 listings (53.6%), and Abu Dhabi 2,645 (25.6%).
A structured salary field was present on 254 of 10,345 listings (2.5%). The fall from 6.9% in August is a change in which listings carry source-supplied fields, not in employer behaviour: among listings on employers' own systems it was 5.0% in September against 5.7% in August.
3,079 of 5,277 LinkedIn listings (58.3%) were Easy Apply.
This is the second edition of the monthly series and the first with a month-over-month comparison. September's 10,345 listings came from 3,501 advertisers (a company, a recruitment agency or a job aggregator). 65.8% advertised exactly one role, and the ten largest advertisers together held 12.6% of all listings. August is restated in this edition on the same basis (14,975 listings; see the August report).

Comparing September with August
September's total is not a like-for-like measure of hiring demand. Collection was interrupted for part of the month, so September's figures reflect what we collected, not everything that was advertised, and the fall in the number of listings should not be read as a fall in hiring. Shares, such as the split by emirate, are less affected, though they also move with the source mix: LinkedIn accounted for 64.9% of August listings and 51.0% of September listings. September figures are as of 1 October and may rise slightly as late listings are added; August rose by 1.1% after its first publication.
Most advertisers posted a single role
Across the 3,501 distinct advertisers identified in September, 2,305 of 3,501 (65.8%) advertised exactly one role during the month, against 64.2% in August. The ten largest advertisers accounted for 12.6% of all 10,345 listings collected, against 11.0% in August.
Share of listings by advertiser group, 1-30 September 2026, n=10,345
Ten advertisers accounted for roughly one listing in eight. The remaining 3,491 accounted for the rest.
Advertisers here include companies, recruitment agencies and job aggregators. See Method.
As in August, advertised demand is not concentrated in a small set of large advertisers, and a top advertiser ranking would be misleading: advertiser names mix direct companies, staffing agencies and job aggregators, and a single organisation can appear under more than one label. The concentration figures describe the shape of the advertiser base, not who is hiring most.

Dubai and Abu Dhabi job listings together account for 8,192 of 10,345 (79.2%) of all listings collected in September, against 80.4% in August. Sharjah is again the largest of the smaller emirates at 261 of 10,345 (2.5%). A small number of role pages drawn from this collection are available to browse, including Dubai property consultant roles, Dubai business development manager roles, and UAE accountant roles.

Averages per day are used because September has five Tuesdays and Wednesdays and four of every other day, while August has five Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. September's pattern should not be read as employer posting behaviour, because collection was interrupted on some days. In the ten days at the end of the month with uninterrupted collection (21–30 September), Monday to Friday averaged 661 listings per day, Saturday 356 and Sunday 277, consistent with August's pattern of heavier weekday posting. This reflects when listings were posted, not when roles were filled.

Two of these fields cannot be compared across all listings. The work arrangement label and the structured salary field are supplied by the source platform. LinkedIn listings dated from 18 August onward arrive without them: none of the 5,277 LinkedIn listings in September carried either, whereas 96.6% of LinkedIn listings dated 1–17 August carried the work arrangement label. Listings on employers' own systems carry the label on every listing and are the like-for-like comparison:

The fall across all listings, from 67.8% to 49.0% for work arrangement and from 6.9% to 2.5% for structured salary, therefore reflects which listings carry source-supplied fields, not a change by employers. Both are field availability, not measures of pay transparency or working arrangements. The other fields are read from the listing's own title or description and are comparable across all listings. Employment type was stated on 9,375 of 10,345 (90.6%). Definitions are in Method.

Questions about this data
How many job listings were posted in the UAE in September 2026?
10,345 listings were collected between 1 and 30 September 2026, 30.9% fewer than the 14,975 collected in August. Collection was interrupted for part of September, so the difference reflects what was collected, not a change in hiring activity.
Which emirate has the most job listings?
Dubai, with 5,547 of 10,345 listings (53.6%). Abu Dhabi is second at 2,645 of 10,345 (25.6%).
Do UAE job listings include salary?
Rarely in a structured field — 254 of 10,345 listings (2.5%) carried one. Among listings published on employers' own systems, 5.0% did, against 5.7% in August; LinkedIn listings carried no structured salary field in September. This is field availability, not pay transparency.
What day are most UAE jobs posted?
September's day-of-week pattern is distorted by interrupted collection, so it does not show reliably when employers post. In the ten days with uninterrupted collection (21–30 September), Monday to Friday averaged 661 listings per day, Saturday 356 and Sunday 277.
How many UAE advertisers advertise more than one role?
Of 3,501 advertisers, 1,196 (34.2%) advertised more than one role and 2,305 (65.8%) advertised exactly one. Advertiser refers to the name attached to a listing, which may be a direct employer, a recruitment agency, or a job aggregator.
How many LinkedIn listings use Easy Apply?
3,079 of 5,277 LinkedIn listings (58.3%) were Easy Apply, completed on LinkedIn. The other 2,198 (41.7%) sent applicants to the employer's own site.
Where these listings come from
Listings in this report come from two kinds of sources: UAE job boards, and applicant tracking systems that companies use to publish vacancies directly. The platforms represented include LinkedIn, Bayt, GulfTalent, Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Workable, SmartRecruiters, and other UAE job boards and applicant tracking systems.
The distinction matters. Job boards aggregate listings that companies choose to syndicate. Applicant tracking systems host the listing a company actually publishes on its own careers page, and a meaningful share of these never reach a job board at all. Collecting directly from both source types is what allows this dataset to include listings that a job-board-only search would miss.
Not every listing collected appears as a page on this site. We publish role pages for a small number of job titles, with more added over time.
Method
This report covers job listings collected with a posting date between 1 and 30 September 2026 from UAE job boards and from applicant tracking systems used by employers to publish vacancies directly. Listings are deduplicated to one record per unique application URL (query strings and fragments removed). A listing is included where the source identifies the role as based in the United Arab Emirates and a valid application link is present. Where the same application URL appears more than once, the most recently dated record is kept.
These figures describe listings we collected. Collection is not exhaustive and totals reflect what we observed rather than all hiring activity in the market. Listings reflect advertised demand, not confirmed hires. Dates are the posting dates supplied by each source, read as calendar days. Data as of 1 October 2026.
Collection was interrupted for part of September; see "Comparing September with August". August is restated on current data (14,975 listings) using the same method, so the two months are directly comparable in method, though not in how much was collected.
Advertiser refers to the name attached to a listing. This may be a direct employer, a recruitment agency or a job aggregator, and a single organisation may appear under more than one label.
Emirate is taken from the listing's location text. Where a location names more than one emirate, it is counted under Dubai first. Listings whose location does not name an emirate are counted as "UAE-wide or emirate not specified".
Day of week is shown as the average number of listings per day, because a month does not contain equal numbers of each weekday.
Field-content definitions. Each is a presence test on the listing, not a verification of the requirement itself:
Employment type stated: the source supplies an employment type.
Work arrangement label present: the source supplies a work-arrangement classification (remote, hybrid or on-site). This is a label from the source platform, not necessarily wording in the listing.
Structured salary field present: the source supplies a salary value or range in a structured field. Salary written only in the description is not counted.
Seniority derivable from job title: the title contains a level word such as senior, junior, lead, head, director, manager, supervisor, intern, trainee, principal or graduate.
Experience requirement mentioned: the description states a number of years within 30 characters of the word "experience".
Language requirement mentioned: the description names a language (for example Arabic, French, Hindi, Urdu, Russian, Chinese, German or Spanish) within 40 characters of a word such as fluent, proficient, speak, native or language.
Visa mentioned in the description: the description contains the word "visa". This is a mention, not an offer rate or a count of sponsored roles. (The source's own sponsorship flag is not used, because LinkedIn listings dated from 18 August arrive without it.)
Professional qualification named: the description names ACCA, CPA, RERA, PMP, CA or CMA.
Nationality preference mentioned: the description contains nationality, Emirati, UAE national, GCC national, "nationals only" or "citizens only".
Driving licence mentioned: the description contains "driving licence/license" or "driver's licence/license".
