1000Jobs vs Tsenta: we tested both from the UAE (2026)

We tested Tsenta from the UAE. UAE matches scored 50-57%, its tailoring added skills and dates we never had, and auto-apply may need the $99 plan.

Quick answer: For a UAE search, use 1000Jobs. When we tested Tsenta from the UAE in October 2026, its own match score rated the UAE roles it found at just 50 to 57%. Those matches were mostly remote, and an on-site search returned more US remote roles rather than local ones. Its tailoring added skills and dates our CV did not have, and its support assistant said auto-apply needs the $99 Power plan. 1000Jobs reads Bayt and GulfTalent and submits every application for you across every board in the feed, including Bayt and GulfTalent.

Tsenta is a job application automation tool that watches company career pages and tailors your resume to each posting. Those two are clearly in every tier, including the free 25 applications. Whether it then submits for you is the part worth confirming before you pay, and this page explains why. It runs on web, iOS, Android, a Chrome extension, iMessage and WhatsApp, and it publishes the clearest per-application pricing in the category. On price per application it is the most aggressive tool available.

We tested Tsenta from the UAE in October 2026 using an AI engineer's CV. Tsenta's own match score rated its UAE roles at 50 to 57%, and they included production and PLC engineering roles. Its tailoring added skills and dates that were not in the CV, and its own support assistant said auto-apply needs the $99 Power plan.

How we compared: We tested Tsenta from the UAE in October 2026 using an AI engineer's CV, both tailoring modes and Auto Apply, then checked every price and coverage claim against tsenta.com. Where a claim rests on what Tsenta's support assistant said, we attribute it that way. Revenue, funding and user counts are excluded because they do not help you choose.

What are AI job application tools?

These tools remove parts of applying for work. Some store your history and paste it into forms. Others find roles, write a tailored resume, answer the screener questions and submit without you.

Tsenta sits at the far end of that range. It is an agent rather than an assistant, and autofill extensions in the same category prefill your name and email and then hand the form back. That distinction decides how much of your week the tool removes, and coverage decides whether it removes anything at all.

The rest of this page is what happened when we put both to work on a UAE search, including the parts that are difficult to test from a marketing page.

What we found when we tested Tsenta from the UAE

We ran the test in October 2026 on an AI engineer's CV, with a search aimed at UAE roles. The screenshots below are from our own account. They are the reason this comparison is written differently to our other ones.

1. The UAE matching was weak, and the default has no location filter

Tsenta does list Dubai roles. The problem is what it does with them. Tsenta scores every match it returns, and for UAE roles that score came back at 50 to 57%. That figure is the tool's own assessment of its best local matches, not our judgement of them. It was telling us the roles it had found were mediocre fits before we opened a single one, and several were not close to the profile at all. An AI engineer's CV was matched to production and PLC engineering roles, which is a different profession entirely.

When a match engine scores its own UAE results in the fifties, the algorithm is not what is broken. The index behind it is thin, and it is showing you the best of what little it contains.

By default, Auto Apply also has no location filter set, so the tool matched mostly US jobs. Anyone searching from Dubai has to notice that and correct it before a single application is worth sending.

There was a second skew in the same test, and it is the one that costs people time. Asked for UAE roles, the matches were mostly remote. When we narrowed the search toward on-site work, it did not surface more local roles. It pushed more remote ones, and those were largely US-based too. If you need a UAE employer to sponsor or stamp a visa, a remote US contract is not a smaller version of the same opportunity. It is a different outcome entirely, and applying against it burns the credits you were saving for the roles that could actually hire you.

2. The tailoring added skills and dates that were not in the CV

This is the finding that matters most. Tsenta offers a tailoring mode called Honest alongside a more aggressive option. Even in Honest mode, the rewritten CV added skills and experience that were not in the original, including Java, RAG and MLOps. It also changed the candidate's location and invented employment dates.

In Aggressive mode it rewrote almost every bullet, adding claims the candidate has never made, such as designing test sets and choosing evaluation metrics, and working on data structures, algorithms and system design. We have before and after screenshots of both modes.

Tsenta's pricing page states the opposite of what we observed. It says the agent "uses only true facts from the résumé you uploaded", and that "nothing goes out in your name that you cannot read back later". Our test CV gained a programming language, two specialisms, a different city and employment dates that never existed. That is the gap between the promise and the product, and it is the reason we would check every tailored CV before it is sent.

A CV that states skills the candidate does not have is a risk that lands on the candidate, not the tool. If a recruiter asks about Java in an interview and you have not used it, the damage is yours.

3. Auto Apply needed the Power plan

Tsenta's pricing page is unusually explicit on this point. It says "every tier is the full product, and the tiers differ by volume only", that the four-stage agent including Apply is "included" on all four plans, and that "there is no tier that locks you out of a specific employer system" and "no feature gate between Starter and Power".

That is not what we found. When we asked its support assistant whether Auto Apply works on the cheaper plans, it told us Auto Apply needs the Power plan at $99 a month. A user on Tsenta's own subreddit reports the same thing, that the auto-apply feature is only in the $99 tier and not on the others.

We could not reconcile the two, and we are not the only ones who cannot. The practical position for anyone budgeting is that the published $19 entry price should not be assumed to include automated applying. Get the answer in writing before you pay, and if what arrives does not match the pricing page, that is your answer.

Why is Tsenta not good enough for finding jobs in the UAE?

Tsenta does several things better than almost anyone. Its platform list is the broadest published in the category, its per-application pricing is transparent where competitors hide theirs, and it is open about its own product history and limits. That standard of disclosure is why we tested it at all.

The gap is geographic, and it is total. Tsenta watches company career pages directly rather than job boards, which works well in the US where large employers post on their own systems. In the UAE a large share of hiring runs through Bayt, GulfTalent and Naukrigulf instead, so a role posted by a Dubai SME on Bayt never appears on a career page Tsenta is watching. Our test showed the same from the product side, with US jobs dominating the matches, Tsenta's own scoring placing its UAE matches in the fifties, and a request for on-site work returning yet more remote US roles rather than local ones.

Why is 1000Jobs better than Tsenta for the UAE?

Price: Free, 100 credits every 30 days with no card. Premium is AED 199 a month for 350 credits, same-day application clearing and a human CV review. VIP is AED 4,000 one-time for 90 days and guarantees 3 qualifying interviews.

1000Jobs scans LinkedIn, Bayt, GulfTalent, Lever, Greenhouse and 10+ other UAE sources daily at 6am GST and scores every role against your profile. Matches arrive in a swipe queue, kept roles get a tailored ATS-optimised CV, and applications are submitted for you on Lever, Greenhouse and Workday.

Strengths:

  1. It reads Bayt and GulfTalent alongside LinkedIn and the Lever, Greenhouse and Workday career pages, which covers both the boards and the direct employer systems.
  2. It submits every application for you across every board in the feed, including Bayt and GulfTalent, so the form-filling and open-ended questions are handled rather than returned to you.
  3. Every role carries an AI match score, which turns a scattered search across several boards into one ranked queue you can clear in about five minutes a day.
  4. CV tailoring works from the resume you give it. It rewrites and reorders what is there, and does not add employers, dates or skills you do not have.

Trade-offs:

  1. It is UAE-focused, so it is the wrong tool for a search that spans several countries.
  2. Workday support is newer and the company describes it as best-effort.
  3. There is no interview coaching or mock interview feature.
  • Best for: Professionals running a broad UAE search who want the regional boards covered, applications sent rather than prepared, and a CV that stays within the truth.

The full picture on Tsenta

Price: $19 a month for 600 applications, $39 for 1,500 and $99 for 4,500. Credit packs of 200, 600 and 2,000 never expire. 25 free applications with no time limit and no card.

Tsenta matches and tailors across more than 30 employer systems, including Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, iCIMS, Oracle Cloud and Workable. Its pricing page states that every tier, the free 25 included, runs the full four-stage agent with Apply in it, and that applications run on its servers so the work continues after you close the laptop. Every change is shown to you before it goes out. Confirm the submission question in writing before subscribing, for the reason set out below.

Strengths:

  1. The published platform list is the broadest in the category, covering more than 30 employer systems including the enterprise ones that most tools break on.
  2. Applications run in the cloud and leave a record, so you can see what was submitted rather than guessing.
  3. Pricing is published openly, with credit packs that do not expire and a free tier of 25 applications with no time limit.
  4. It is unusually transparent about its own history, having rebuilt the product three times, and it publishes the criteria it uses to compare tools.

Trade-offs:

  1. No Gulf job board appears on the platform list, and our test produced mostly US matches, with Tsenta's own match score rating its UAE roles at 50 to 57%.
  2. Its tailoring added skills, a location and employment dates that were not in our test CV, in Honest mode as well as Aggressive.
  3. Its support assistant says Auto Apply needs the Power plan at $99 a month, which its pricing page contradicts by stating every tier is the full product.
  4. Auto Apply had no location filter set by default in our test, so a UAE search ran against US roles until we corrected it.

How it compares to 1000Jobs: 3 differences

  1. Tsenta applies across 30+ employer systems and none of them are Gulf job boards. 1000Jobs is built around Bayt, GulfTalent and LinkedIn, and applies on Lever, Greenhouse and Workday.
  2. On applications per dollar Tsenta is cheaper for US and European searches. That advantage is worth nothing on a UAE search where its platforms are absent.
  3. In our test Tsenta's matching and tailoring both failed a UAE profile. 1000Jobs is built only for that profile.
  • Best for: Job seekers applying to US and European roles through enterprise applicant tracking systems, who want cloud automation and published pricing, and who will review every tailored CV before it is sent.

The final verdict

Before this test we described Tsenta as the strongest engine in the category for the markets it covers, and that still holds for a US or European search. Its ATS depth, its cloud automation and its published pricing are better than most competitors.

For a UAE search the test settled it. Tsenta's own matching scored its UAE roles in the fifties and returned roles from the wrong profession, the tailoring added qualifications the candidate does not hold, and the price of automatic applying appears to be $99 rather than the advertised $19.

The invented content is the part we would not accept at any price. A tailored CV is supposed to make your existing experience legible to a machine, not manufacture experience you have to defend in an interview.

If you are applying to the UAE, the tool that reads the boards and keeps your CV honest is the one worth using.

Frequently asked questions

Is Tsenta available in the UAE?

For a UAE search, use 1000Jobs. Tsenta lists Dubai roles but names no Gulf job board, and our October 2026 test matched mostly US jobs by default, with UAE matches scored at 50 to 57% and some drawn from the wrong profession entirely.

Does Tsenta invent content on your resume?

In our test it did, in both tailoring modes. Honest mode added Java, RAG and MLOps to an AI engineer's CV that did not list them, changed the candidate's location and invented employment dates. Aggressive mode rewrote almost every bullet with experience the candidate does not have. We have before and after screenshots of both.

Does Tsenta auto-apply on every plan?

Its pricing page says yes, in specific terms: every tier is the full product, the Apply stage is included on all four plans, and there is "no feature gate between Starter and Power". When we asked its support assistant, we were told Auto Apply needs the Power plan at $99 a month, and a user on Tsenta's own subreddit reports the same. The published page and the product do not agree, so get the answer in writing before subscribing.

How much does Tsenta cost per application?

Published pricing is $19 a month for 600 applications, $39 for 1,500 and $99 for 4,500, which works out to roughly 3 cents an application on the entry plan. If auto-apply needs the Power plan as its assistant told us, the real entry cost for automatic applying is $99 a month.

Is 1000Jobs or Tsenta better for Dubai jobs?

For Dubai, 1000Jobs, because it reads Bayt, GulfTalent and 10+ other UAE sources, applies on Lever, Greenhouse and Workday, and tailors your CV from the content you give it. Tsenta is better for US and European searches, where its 30+ employer systems and low cost per application are hard to beat.

Pricing and platform coverage verified on tsenta.com in October 2026.
