What does Easy Apply actually do?
Easy Apply lets you submit an application without leaving LinkedIn, using your profile and an uploaded CV. According to LinkedIn's help on applying to jobs, LinkedIn sends the application to the job poster. Some employers connect LinkedIn directly to their applicant tracking system, so Easy Apply applications land in the same place as applications from their website.
In practice, Easy Apply removes steps when you submit. It doesn't change what the employer sees: your CV, your profile and your answers to any questions.
Do recruiters ignore Easy Apply applications?
There's no reliable evidence that they do. LinkedIn's help documentation explains how Easy Apply applications are delivered to employers, and nothing in LinkedIn's recruiter guidance suggests recruiters automatically deprioritise them.
What's more likely is that Easy Apply jobs attract more applicants, because applying takes a minute. When a role receives hundreds of applications, the ones that stand out are the ones clearly matched to the role. If you're hearing nothing back, the route is rarely the reason. Why does timing matter so much with Easy Apply?
Many LinkedIn jobs only accept a limited number of applications. According to LinkedIn's help page on free job posts, free posts typically have an application limit of 10 to 30 applications, depending on the role. Once a post reaches its limit, it's paused and removed from search results.
Jobs posted through some hiring systems work slightly differently. When a free (unpromoted) job reaches its Easy Apply limit, the Easy Apply button is removed and applicants are sent to the employer's careers site instead. Promoted jobs don't have this limit.
In our own testing, many UAE Easy Apply listings stopped accepting Easy Apply applications within a few days of being posted, and some within a few hours. So if you find a role that fits, apply the same day if you can, and within a few days at most.
LinkedIn also limits how many Easy Apply applications you can send per day, to encourage more considered applications and curb automated ones. Another reason to focus on roles that genuinely fit.

- Include your UAE details. Make your visa status, location and availability clear in your CV, since UAE employers often screen on them.

Easy Apply roles still appear in your 1000Jobs matches. Because LinkedIn limits automated Easy Apply submissions, you submit these applications yourself. Method and limits
The LinkedIn listing figures come from 1000Jobs' own data: unique UAE listings posted between 1 July and 31 August 2026, counted once per unique application link. The Easy Apply split is based on LinkedIn's own Easy Apply flag for each listing. The hiring-system figures come from a separate set of listings posted directly on employer systems, not the destinations LinkedIn listings send applicants to, so the two sets aren't directly comparable.
The application limits come from LinkedIn's help documentation and Spark Hire's documentation for employers using LinkedIn's Easy Apply integration. The observation on how quickly listings stop accepting applications comes from our own internal testing of UAE Easy Apply listings.
